anniversary time for us

7 years with this handsome guy.
It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that 11 years of my life have been with this person. It feels like we just met, but when I think of all of the things we have experienced during those 11 years, it feels like we have been together forever. We were kids 11 years ago. Literally. And now we are about to welcome baby #2 in to our little family in just a few months. It's amazing really. Everything little thing about me, the person I am, the mom I am, the career I am in...it all was experienced and a product of our relationship. We have had many highs and lows, and learned so much about life together.
He's amazing. I'm so happy he chose me.

Valentines Day- 2014

I know some people aren't huge fans of Valentines Day, because "we should show we love each other and do nice things more than once a year...blah blah blah." BUT, I like, or rather, I love valentine's Day. You see, Dustin and I still make it a point to have date night, we tell, as well as show each other how much we love one another on a daily basis, but it's nice to have a day set for the rest of your lives for another date-night! Right? I don't see why anyone would complain.
{ Disclaimer: I don't ever want to come across as saying Dustin and I have the perfect marriage by any means, we don't. I think part of what makes a marriage work is recognizing that you always, I mean ALWAYS have to work at it. We've all heard that an exhausting amount of times, but it's true. We bicker nearly every day. Mainly because I'm always right (duh) and I have to set him straight, but, nonetheless, we bicker.}

All in all, I love this holiday and enjoyed it just as much this year as well as any other.

This year, from Mr. Johnson,  I got a bag of all my favorite candy and some yummy Juicy Couture perfume. It means a lot that he really remembers and notices all of my favorites.

We gave Jaiya a Barbie that she wanted. One with a dog that poops. It's weird, but she was excited. Success!

And Dustin came home an hour early from work to surprise both his girls with flowers. We were both feeling pretty special.

And here Are some pictures of our night out with the Taylor's.
